Calcite is a natural form of calcium carbonate widely used in Plastics, Paints and Rubber as a filter due to its high dispersibility, low oil absorption, higher impact strength, smooth surface finish, easy processing and excellent dimensional stability.

Effects on properties of polymers :

  • Increase in flexuaral modules
  • Increase in dimensional stability reduces creep resistance
  • Increase in HDT
  • Lower melt viscosity
  • Improved electrical properties
  • Improved processing characteristics
  • Good dispersion
  • Excellent hiding power.

Recommended Applications :

  • PP compounding for furnitures, automobiles and home appliances
  • Antifabrilliant Masterbatches for PP and LDPE woven sack
  • Colour Masterbatches and other additive Masterbatches
  • PVC Cable compounding
  • Paints
  • Paper Coatings
  • Thermoset plastic
  • Vinyl floorings
  • PU foam (Flexible and Rigid)
  • Powder Coatings.
