Calcite is a natural form of calcium carbonate widely used in Plastics, Paints and Rubber as a filter due to its high dispersibility, low oil absorption, higher impact strength, smooth surface finish, easy processing and excellent dimensional stability.
Effects on properties of polymers :
- Increase in flexuaral modules
- Increase in dimensional stability reduces creep resistance
- Increase in HDT
- Lower melt viscosity
- Improved electrical properties
- Improved processing characteristics
- Good dispersion
- Excellent hiding power.
Recommended Applications :
- PP compounding for furnitures, automobiles and home appliances
- Antifabrilliant Masterbatches for PP and LDPE woven sack
- Colour Masterbatches and other additive Masterbatches
- PVC Cable compounding
- Paints
- Paper Coatings
- Thermoset plastic
- Vinyl floorings
- PU foam (Flexible and Rigid)
- Powder Coatings.
